Practica 16/02/08

Gracias!

Hola a todos!!! Quería decirles que estamos muy contentos con la gente que vino el último sábado. Muchos principiantes pudieron dar sus primeros pasos en la práctica gracias a varios tangueros de Dublín. Es muy reconfortante ver como todos se mezclan y se ayudan unos a otros. Nuestro objetivo se esta cumpliendo: el tango es para todos y lo compartimos con mucha alegría.

Queremos agradecer a toda la gente que esta viniendo y que con mucha paciencia comparte su baile con todos los demás. Espero que todos la hayan disfrutado y nos vemos el próximo sábado.

The First Post

Hi there! I can’t believe it is my first post on our tango blog!

It was Georgina’s idea to start a tango web blog, where we all can share information, discuss different tango events, post our news, pictures, videos etc.! I think it is a great idea and I really hope that it’ll kick off well and there will be people sharing our passion for tango and blogging!

As you all know our Saturday classes were launched last week! To tell the truth, we hoped to have more people around, but, in the end, we were very happy with how it all went. A few friends came to support the event and dance; it was nice and cosy, almost intimate!

The most difficult part was to find a bar where we could have a quiet glass of wine afterwards! A Six Nations Saturday night wasn’t the best time for it after all! However, I still hope that we can find some quiet place where we could all enjoy each other’s company after dancing! All your suggestions and ideas are more than welcome!!!!

I hope that with time our blog will offer more information, links to interesting sites, discussion to join and a lot more. I invite everyone to join us online and start blogging! I promise we’ll work on it as well, for example, very soon Georgina is going to publish her first post in Spanish!

I really hope that more of you can make it to our humble practica this Saturday and I hope you’ll enjoy it!
